I saw that Access are discontinuing the Virus C in favour of their new model. The TI.

I wanted to know if anyone knows of a difference between the (new) Virus Classic and the old Virus C?

The "new" Virus Classis is identical to the old Virus B, which technically doesn't make it new at all. The C has better filters, slightly more effects and 32 voice polyphony as apposed to 24. With that being said, the Classic still retains the trademark virus sound so -shrug- If you can pick up a second hand C for a good price that would be better.

The TI on the other hand absoloutly shits on both of them. With 80 voice polyphony it can pull anything off.

The amount of voices he was playing when he upped the release without any of the notes cutting out was amazing. And the Viruscontrol VST plug in will increase workflow 10 fold. TI all the way.

Yeah I must admit, the TI has awesome totally awesome with that VST feature. So mind blowing.

I must get one. I've seen the TI for less than the Virus C, and I was like huh? Thats prolly the next thing on my kit list.

Look all I meant, DJ Apollo, is that it doesn't sound unique. Essential Platinum uses Virus C. Really, I Love Essential Platinum!

I've seen the Virus TI in a shop here and they vend the Desktop TI for only 1549€!!! I'll buy it in a week it's the best synth i've ever seen (i thought it was advertised for march Oo)... complex, dynamic osszillating and every sound is really "a pasturage for your ears ; )"
(sometimes the LFO's for example really sound stalled and stifled on some synthies just as wanted but not skillful and you often can't get all the various harshness or stirring sounds you perhaps want to hear/use)

the TI is just amazing and fantastic!!!
