**** me, im soo ****in pissed off hence the language. One of ma turntables keeps skippin. Iv tried changing tonearms etc but nowt works, its the same turntable. If i tap the left one near the start button (relatively hard) it doesnt skip yet on the right one (in the same place) it will always skip like crazy. Iv noticed that this end (the corner near the start button) on the right moves alot more than the left one (when i push it down). Also, they make completely different sounds when i tap them. Any1 have any ideas about what it could be or what i could do? If it doesnt get sorted i seriously will be either throwin the ****ers off my wall or out of a window. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
BTW, i have numark tt200's. About 6 months old.

dunno if its the same on numark,but on technics by twisting the 4 legs they stand on it adjusts the height. chances are the deck's on a slight angle,not enough to be noticed by the naked eye but enough for gravity to pull the needle down and across your record

Yeh thats the type of thing i was thinkin. Cheers il give it a whirl. U have no idea how stressed and frustrated i am over this, i had myself screamin and punchin a wall before!!!

Make sure your decks are perfectly flat on the table, turntables are heavy and sometimes the desk will sag in the middle causing the decks not to be level and thus they will skip....

Is the sound quality degraded at all? Could also be time for new needles perhaps?

No iv tried swappin carts and needles etc and its the same turntable. Cheers for the help anyway guys i think il probs have to live with it.

^^ ^^ Better not be givin up jus yet mkr got plans of some 4 deck madness once we get sorted  . If you no anyone experienced with decks try get them to take a look it'll probs be somethin quite simple tends to be if i ever have difficulties.
