Can anyone out there help me? I've set up my decks but there's a slight problem. One side plays at normal volume but the other is very quiet and makes the records sounds shit! To start off with I thought it was the needles, so I went to buy some new once....but that did nothing..Any ideas?

if its one turntable quieter than the other, then first check that it isnt the gain on your mixer (might be called trim) and its usually the top pot above a channel.
if they're ok,swap the cables over at the back of the mixer,so the left decks comes out of channel 2 on the mixer, and vice versa. if it hasnt made a difference and that side is still quiet, you know the problem's not with the turntable. but if all of a sudden its the other deck thats quiet then you know it's that. and if so,make sure its calibrated properly. if it is the deck then the problem is with your tone arm or the cable leading to the mixer

it may sound lame, but make sure the deck is plugged into the phono and not the line in, it may make it sound like that
don't stand and stare, just kick your legs in the air

I'm about 90% sure it's your headshell...
switch headshells between the two decks and if the deck doing the silent thing changes you'll know.
if the headshell is the problem, try licking the back of the headshell (yes, with your tongue) and reconnecting it - I had a str8-50 that needed that...
(the problem isn't actually the headshell but the deck tonearm although this fixes the problem temporarily)
