Just was flickin thru y tape packs and jst found myself puttin them in order of faves at that moment in time dis is what i came up with:)

That bout all my packs have had bout 20 more when was younger ( liek a complete n utter **** i sold my vibealite 96 semi final, n final 4 pks:( bets pax i ever had if ne1 got ne idea where can find em willin to pay good money:D Anyway just wonderin how u guys would rate ur packs in order n see what packs u guys had...Look forward to ur replies to this as take great pride in my collection (best in area i reckon:)) (ego:P)

Im checking out the Tape Packs in my local Andys Records tomorrow.

Hopefully a 15:99 pack is available.....

I ahve tape packs but im trying to get the energy 2001 tape pack at the moment and the helter skelter web site aint got them advertised yet!!

If anybody's looking for some - like some were asking - look on IMO (www.imouk.com).
Also, what is it about tape packs? Why are they used instead of CDs or vinyl? Well, vinyl's kinda obvious - expensive to do in small numbers - but what is it about tapes?

Can anyone recommend some tape packs for me? I usually wouldn't consider buying tape packs because, well, tapes suck compared to cds, but I'd be willing to compromise if I got some good sets. I'm only looking for recent ones so I can get some upfront tunes and some good freeform with the happy stuff. I'll probably end up getting 2 sets, any more and I wouldn't be able to eat for about a month :) So far I'm looking at the Slammin Vinyl 12 Pack from Sept 1 2001 and the United Dance 8 Pack from Sept 7 2001. I don't know if that would be a mistake to get two packs recorded so close to each other when several dj's are on both. I'm also considering the United Dance vs Fever 8 Pack from July 6 2001, or possibly another Slammin Vinyl Pack from February 2 or April 7 2001. Anyone have these or know about them to help me decide which two would be the best to get?

get teh slammin Vinyl 12 pack from sept 1 2001, will have loadsa freeform on specially wit mark eg n m zone et con it, united dance seems more hardcore to me:) The slammin pack prob much betta nehow

tapes are cheap, easy, fast, profitable...plus they use a tape machine at tha raves
