why do shops like hmv and virgin megastores not sell happy hardcore?
happy hardcore rules!!!
what decks could you recommended for a budget price and where from
i have little experience

hmv and shops like that only sell commercial music. hhc is not commercial so that's why they don't sell it
try some of the record shops in your town that aren't mainstream,and if they don't sell hhc surely you can order it.
as for decks,starting off,go for some expensive belt drives rather than cheap direct drives,coz once you can mix on belts then directs come naturally,however this doesn't apply the other way i'm afraid.
maybe something by gemini and just a standard 2 channel mixer would suit you,then when you get better move on to technics 1210's which are industry standard and get a state of the art mixer with 3 channels and a 3 band eq too

but i choose for remix records part 6 and

because i prefer uk hardcore than dutch.
