Search the net for samples, or buy yourself something like a Juno II perhaps?

Yeah you would need to buy the synth that makes the sound first, and as it's old Hardcore sounds you'd want, you would need to buy an Alpha Juno 1 or 2, which cost around £150 on ebay.

Yeah a Juno 106 would be good... MC101, even a TB303 if you can afford it.

mmm 106, I love my baby =P

still need to pick up a tb though =/

pick up some sort of controller for your computer, it will help tremendously. get a sampler of some sort too so you can record some tunes and chop them up.

You have a 106?:P Lucky, although an Alpha Juno would have been cheaper, and at the same time better for Hardcore, assuming thats what you wanted it for :P

For the TB 303 it would be much better get an emulator which is almost just as good, like the Freebass which is really very cheap. TB 303's are around £800 off Ebay if you've noticed :P

You could even get an FR 777 (if it's acid you want) which does an extremely good acid sound (in my opinion), which would still be cheaper if you bought it direct from the makers, funnily enough it's $777 (or was last time i looked). Although saying that, i think it's discontinued. Justrich & Phosphor use the FR 777 for their acid, so you can see why it's so good :)
http://www.future-retro.com/ - That's the site for it, there is audio samples there too :)

I always wanted to pick up a tb 303 (devilfish would be nice) just to put in a display case =P don't really need one but I would like to pick up a virus c or a powercore firewire w/ all the plugins

The Juno is a synth :)
There are several Juno's though, it's the Alpha Juno 1 or 2 you would want, that's what everyone used to make most of the classic Happy Hardcore sounds, either that or they had samples recorded from it :)
