After the major success of the launch party in October having rammed dance floors, top atmosphere, booming sound, class intelligent lighting and lasers and phat line-ups! We’ve decided we are going to return for some more of that!! hell yeah... VELOCITY is back for a Christmas Party Special!
See you all there for what’s going to be another night of hardcore madness taking over the Club Mist main arena with Hixxy & Sharkey heading up the hardcore madness, these pair really need no introduction! With major success of the Bonkers albums, shows on Radio 1 this year with the late John Peel and Hixxy winning Outstanding Contribution to hardcore Award @Slammin Vinyl/Hardcore Heaven - be prepared to rock ya sox off to these pioneering leaders of our scene. Nu Energy Collective’s DJ Impact joins the main room with his bouncy and uplifting tunes and having major successful tour overseas this year and rocking many parties across the UK get ready to stomp as this DJ will certainly leave an ‘Impact’ at Velocity. Shauny C & Abeyance will be sure to get the crowd moving with their uplifting hard hitting hardcore. This isn’t all…on top of this you have Velocity Residents Optrix and Petruccio bringing the hardcore party vibe to the region. And as if that wasn’t enough…Whizzkid of MC2 one of the most sought after hardcore MCs in the country at the moment will be joining the party along with Velocity’s MC Odyssey no.1 Freeform MC with his well respected deep lyrics and technical rhyme patterns. MC Smiley also touches down at Velocity for the first time so be truly prepared to be rushed by our MCs for the night! Be sure to arrive early to avoid disappointment as Sharkey touches down and warms the Main Arena for a party not to be missed.
Supporting the event will be the niteclubbers.net crew with a mix of Hard House, Hard Trance, Hard Style and Techno. Bringing Phil B back to the region he will be celebrating what’s been a busy year for him with gigs at Frantic, WiLDCHiLD and BIG to name a few! After almost bringing the roof down in room 2 at the last Velocity event Mark Hughes returns to the decks with some hard, fast and dirty tunes. Joining these 2 is the talented Zipper, With niteclubbers.net very own K-Lee showing the boys up as she bangs the tunes out. Also supporting will be Mow (Kix resident) and Colin Melville (Galaxy FM/BIG DJ competition winner)….pioneers of the monthly Hard Dance night in Kings Lynn at the Old Maydens Head.
On top of all this the night will be being filmed by a crew from Storm TV, a new Digital TV station that will be launching on Sky next year….so come along and get yourself on the telly!

DJ HIXXY - This legend needs no introduction, boasting major successes with his award winning record label Raverbaby (winning Best Hardcore Record Label @Slammin Vinyl/Hardcore Heaven Awards), major success of the Bonkers Albums & HTID album / sell-out events, Radio 1 appearances with the late John Peel, and Hixxy also picking up the award for Outstanding Contribution to Hardcore. A crowd pleaser every time and leading the way with his DJing / Production skills, we are proud to have him touch down @Velocity!!!
DJ SHARKEY – Another legend really needing no introduction, Sharkey pioneer of the Freeform sound and owner of the Bonkerz label. Part of the Nu Energy Collective and accomplishing successful tours across the planet, hosting the John Peel is not enough Radio show where hardcore was aired to the world, and a major part of the Bonkers Album series, this well respected artist will be warming the night up so arrive early to avoid disappointment!
DJ IMPACT – a part of the Nu Energy Collective and owner of FBI records, this top DJ has rocked many-a-dancefloor across the planet. With his uplifting and bouncy approach behind the decks, Impact is a well sought after hardcore DJ and will rock the dance floor.
SHAUNY C & ABEYANCE – Shauny C & Abeyance have been creating popular uplifting choons for some time now. They have had successful tracks on various albums and have been working alongside some the top DJs in the industry up and down the UK. Having great skills behind the decks, watch out as these two do back to back battle to make you rush.
DJ OPTRIX – Velocity’s resident Freeform DJ, Optrix has the technical abilities to impress and the power to rock the party with a mass of hard and uplifting freeform hardcore. Get ready to stomp!
DJ PETRUCCIO – 1 half of the Velocity Team, bringing you a stomping uplifting set with a bit of scratch battling going on against the MC’s. Club Mist’s resident hardcore DJ and East Anglia’s rising star watch out for this one.
MC WHIZZKID (MC2) – One of the most sought after hardcore MCs in the world, leading the way with lyrics to believe in, top class beat-boxing and the rhymes you never forget, be there as Whizzkid tears the place up once again!
MC ODYSSEY – 1 half of the Velocity Team, Freeforms No.1 MC and a top UK Hardcore MC. Pioneer of the quick scratch, also well respected for his deep lyrics and technical rhyme patterns. Be prepared to be rushed as this wicked MC touches down yet again to send you into a frenzy.
MC SMILEY – Part of the Essential Platinum Crew, Smiley is a crowd pleaser every time and well known throughout the industry. With events such as Slammin Vinyl, Hardcore Heaven, Helter Skelter, Uproar to name a few which he has MC’ed for be prepared to be rocked with the Smiley Lyrical Flow.

PHIL B – Phil B has had a great year in terms of the events he’s played at, for names such as Frantic, WiLDCHiLD and BIG he’s been playing alongside some of the biggest names on the hard house scene. It’ll be Phil B’s first time back in the region since he played at BIG’s Xtra Hard night…and if that performance was anything to go by…this one will be even better as he is unleashed with a prime time slot.
MARK HUGHES – Host of the hard dance room at the launch of Velocity Mark returns where he left off, he played an excellent set at the launch night, many said the best set of the night…no-wonder we invited him along for this night!
ZIPPER – Finalist in the recent Galaxy FM / BIG DJ competition, Zipper will rock the party with a mixture of Hard house, hard trance and possibly a bit of acid techno!
K-LEE – With a mixture of Hard House and Techno, niteclubbers.net very own K-Lee doesn’t mess around, be prepared to be taken on a journey with quality tunes and excellent skills. She’ll be sure to show the boys up!
MOW – Mow is fairly new to the scene but you wouldn’t think so, on his first night out warming up for GRH he was outstanding, leaving GRH and the promoter of the night more than impressed, GRH commented that he couldn’t believe it was his first time playing and the promoter gave him a resident spot at his night (Kix). Mow is also Co-Founder of Monthly Hard dance night at The Old Maydens Head in Kings Lynn
COLIN MELVILLE – Winner of recent Galaxy FM / BIG DJ competition and co-founder of the Monthly Hard dance night at The Old Maydens Head in Kings Lynn Colin’s mix of Hard house and Techno will go down a treat!
