NYE is the biggest night of the year and the height of every revellers calendar. It’s that special occasion when party animals emerge to share in the fun, the freedom and the excitement that the incoming of a new year symbolises. For this reason it’s essential that a NYE party lives up to full expectations and delivers all that’s promised.
We at Helter Skelter don’t believe in compromise. We’re party people who’ve been with the dance scene since its birth back in the late eighties, and we get our kicks from investing imagination, creativity, and expertise into pulling off top parties that blow the socks off everything else that’s out there.
Our philosophy about Life is simple – if we’re going to throw a NYE party it’s got to be spectacular!
The Party:
After the phenomenal success of Energy 2K4, we invite you to Life, the New Years party we’re hosting in association with nine of the UK’s most conscientious and exciting dance party organisers.Together, we will take on the challenge of transforming the entire Leisure Plaza Complex and its perimeter venues into an extraordinary site of world-class dance music entertainment.
You thought you’d seen it all at Energy, but this party will prove you haven’t. We’re committed to setting new standards and continually making improvements to our events, and Life is no exception. First and foremost Life will be an extravagant party boasting the largest NYE event capacity in the UK, which is promised to be even bigger and better than our sell-out event Energy 2K4. Life will feature (for the first time at the Leisure Plaza Complex) 6 massive
self-contained units incorporating 15 music and entertainment zones, 11 of which will be hosted by us in collaboration with the collective of top-class co-promoters we’ve invited to join us. Linking up the various venues will be a labyrinth of tunnels as well as the Nocturnal Village, which will act as the centrepiece of the site from which ravers, clubbers and bass-heads can access any of the buildings within the festival.
Life will provide everyone who attends with the opportunity to explore a myriad of dance music worlds within one immense location. Life is about fun, about choice, about the freedom to experience and about the authentic celebration of diversity that can be found within our dynamic youth culture.

Music Policy:
Each of Life’s co-hosts is a specialist in a particular sound, and so has something very special and radically different to offer. But although their specialisms are different, all have one major thing in common: they all represent a genre that has evolved from the original House music sound. We at Helter Skelter are re-uniting the icons and rising stars of the dance music family this NYE, and by doing so we (together with our co-hosts) are creating an experience that simply cannot be copied elsewhere.
World-class entertainment:
No expense spared. Size is important, but it isn’t everything. Life is guaranteed to be a big party – but there’s more to Life than that. Months of careful planning have been invested into Life to ensure that it will be the premier choice for any discerning party person who wants to spend NYE in a first-class location being treated like a valued guest.
The Leisure Plaza Complex:
A 21st century venue exclusive to Helter Skelter which incorporates six massive self-contained units catering for thousands. The Complex is located in central Milton Keynes, close to major train, bus* and motorway networks.
It’s certain to be the national dance party hub for NYE 2K4/5! *Trains and buses will be running NYE and New Years Day
The Nocturnal Village:
A magical semi-open air village complete with intriguing stalls, free state-of-the-art fun fair attractions, high-speed adrenalin thrills, recreational technologies and chill-out environments. This bustling meeting place will connect all the Plaza Complex buildings together on the night, and will play an instrumental role in ensuring that everyone has access to the 15 music and entertainment environments available

Your ticket will entitle you to enter the party complex and from there you’ll be free to explore the site. Attractions will include
Free state-of-the-art fun fair attractions, a Megabowl (open all-night) complete with 30 lanes of ten-pin bowling action and a Laser Quest, for those of you who want to spend your night running round darkened mazes shooting laser beams at one another. A Sony Dome complete with the latest computer entertainment. You’ll also find a cinema showing a selection of movies through the night.

Smart Drinks Prices at Life this NYE:
Our drinks prices this NYE will be ‘smart’ because we won’t be charging any more for them than we would normally charge at a party like this. We don’t believe in putting up drinks prices just because it’s NYE!
The first round of drinks to celebrate
the New Year is on us:
Everyone who attends Life this NYE will be entitled to one free drink on the house to celebrate the incoming of 2005. Your free drink will be available to collect from any one of the designated bars around the site 30 minutes before midnight. All you’ll have to do is hand in the official voucher (that comes with your event ticket) to a member of bar staff, who will then provide you with your complimentary beverage to celebrate the New Year.

Life: The number one NYE destination for a generation in search of new kicks
Event Specification:
Energy 2K4 was a phenomenal festival with a phenomenal production, but now we’re going all out to set an even higher standard and improve on what has gone before…
In the Accelerated Culture arena will be the Funktion 1 Resolution 9, the world’s number one sound system for Drum ‘n Bass, specifically designed to direct the sound and enhance the bass frequencies. A new acoustic drape will also adorn the arena ceiling to increase the
sound levels further.
The Hardcore Til I Die arena will have a mind-blowing Turbo Sound Floodlit system installed, with more bass on the main dance floor, extra sound on the balconies and the added
essential of cooling systems throughout.
An impressive Martin Audio Wayfront 8 system will provide for a Hard House & Nu N.R.G sound of perfect clarity and more volume in the Polysexual with Cyberkitten arena. The Good Greef arena will be equipped with a Funkion 1 Resolution 9 sound system, featuring an additional 2 stacks of sound for even higher volumes than at Energy.
We’ll be installing the wicked and wild Martin F2 system in the Technodrome, but this time with double the power. We felt that the amount of power we’d put in this arena at Energy hadn’t fulfilled our expectations, so we’re onto it and making the necessary improvements. Techno mad-caps will also find new cooling systems within.
The Raindance arena will feature an RCF Event 6000 again, proving how faithful an old system this truly is. Expect sound with lots of depth to capture the clarity of the
authentic Old Skool arena sound.
The all-new HTID 2 Freeform, Ultra Vegas, Gurn.net and Funkin You arenas, alongside the classic Helter Skelter Déjà vu VIP environment, will each be equipped with a state-of-the-art sound system and world-class production customised to the individual requirements of these highly specialised environments.

I need to be at this!....Haven't been to hardcore do since '92ish. Anyone know how to get the hell out of East Anglia and back on NYE? I'm thinking of driving since there isn't a train only route from Norwich to MK and the busses will be a nightmare . Any coaches going from around here??

as i am sure you all know the tickets are currently £50. I just found out that I am pregnant so I am unable to go any more. I am willing to sell the ticket for £40, my other half can meet you there and hand it to you in exchange for £40.

i guess no body is intreasted in the ticket then! come on its a steal only 40 pound and all you have to do is bring ya money along and exchange it with my other half, for the ticekt. as soon as some one serious replies, then i can sort out my bfs number so that he can get in contact with you when he is there.
