Is the Hecttech version that I'm familiar with the same one on Smiley Choons 2 or a remix? Or is it a different song entirely?

The Hechtech Version is by Supreme and UFO and is pretty damn good. The only other one i know of is by M Jay and Dan Vee and I cant remember what label its on, its on the 1995 rezzerection cd 'the equinox'.

it's a vinylgroover remix, it still samples the same ah-ha sample. not nearly as good as the hecttech version but it's a decent track....

The Mjay and Dan Vee version is the best of the three tho, easily
