I need help on a decision, if im going to upgrade to a better mixer, would it be better to upgrade to the ultimate, djm 600, or to a middle mixer like a 600 dollar vestax

depends on what you want to do. sure the djm 600 is fun but you really don't need all those options. i own that as well as 2 other mixers that i use. i mainly use that for studio mixes, but prefer to play on the tascam xs-8 since it's a lot easier to do turntablism stuff on.

so what would u reccomend, im looking for sumthing to have a lot of options to do things, and have great sound quality

personally, I really like scratch mixers so I'd go with either a stanton, vestax or a tascam. But it depends on where you are in your mixing and what you what to do with it. If your still in the beginning stages I would shy away from anything that has fx processors.
I'd go with one of the following:
vestax: pmc battle mixers or the pvc 175/275
tascam: if you can find it go with the xs-8
stanton: most of the battle mixers are great, also having a sale at 123dj.com =P
