I have Sennheiser's HD280s which cost 70 quid in black and 80 quid in silver I actually ordered the black ones cause I look for performance not looks, but they sent me the silver ones by mistake (Thanks HTFR) and still charged me 70! (I was'nt complaining)

As for their performance there out of this world I have dropped them, stood on them, split drink on them (not on purpose) and there still as good as when I bought them. I use them for djing out and you can stick the volume right up on them and still here the beats perfectly not that you would need them right up full volume cause these beasts would ****ing blow your ear drums to pieces!!

I would recommend these to anybody thinking of getting headphones for the bedroom or the club!!

Ohh and they have replaceable parts as well so there gonna last a long time!!

i use sony dmv 700r, there nice but they can be quite brittle

they fully cover your ears tho

all my mates use technics 1210 headphones, which i really like.

and ive just bought my girlfrind the sehisser hd25, cos she only had tiny ears!!!

to be honest there isnt really that much difrence in performance, it all down to personal preference.

they can all be found on the net for around £100.

I use a pair of technics headphones and I wouldn't trade them for anything.

I suggest going to a place to check some out, as it's all about prefrence.

But i do suggest either Seinheisser's HD25's or Sony MDRZ 700's.

depends on if you like swivel cups or not, and how well you can keep them on your head. my advice is to go try on headphones before purchasing them. stick them on your head and swing your head around fairly fast, if they stay on, buy them =)
