.... well now you can find out! Nick Arnold, the creative genius behind Bang! has kindly let me put up a tutorial he wrote a few years back demonstrating how he goes about working on writing a song.
Its a very detailed tutorial, and even includes audio of pre and post vox demos, and a recording of an ACTUAL studio session!!! Thisis fantastic stuff, not to be missed by anyone whos interested in production and songwriting of any sort!

It's a really cool site - sort of a mini HH.com  The forum mods are a bit useless but a few more members should give them something to do 
And as you all know, Mr Underloop is indeed a gentleman of the highest standing.

Thanks for the kind words, but really all credit for this should really go to Nick for first of all writing such a fantastic tutorial and giving us all this fantastic insight into the work that goes on behind a proper recording project, and secondly for letting me put up the audio that goes with it too. I can't think of any other top 40 songwriter who has done such a thing, so hats off to the man himself.
Please feel free to come along and join in the shenanigans over at Intense..... I've got to keep the Mods on their toes a bit LOL, and we have lots more stuff like this in the pipeline for the very near future!
