Yesterday I was going through next gen's site listening to the samples of the upcoming blatant beats stuff and for some reason one of them sounded incredibly familiar. I knew a lot of BB's were trance rips, so I thought I must have heard the original before but it didn't seem familiar like that. I then realized I had heard that song somewhere off of the ush message boards. Guess what? Breeze has a rip of the same song. I tracked the original trance turn down, called JBN - All I Want, and it turns out that both blatant beats and new infinity are coming out with different rips of the same trance song and i suppose releasing them at nearly the same time. I don't know whether to laugh or be ashamed of the scene right now. Especially at a time where so many great original tunes are coming out on labels like new infinity (i think breeze is the offender, UFO's stuff is great), fruity cutz, hecttech/htse, and a whole load of new US labels, isn't it kinda sad to see all these rips? I'm not totally against rips either, this is just ridiculous. Anyways hear em for yourself:

Brisk & Fade - Desire

Breeze & Styles - All I Want

Once you're done listening to the breeze song chop off the last part of that url and browse the index. There's tight set of nearly all unreleased stuff that's definitely worth downloading - tracklist:

Flyin High - UFO & Stu J - UFO Rmx Special remix (never to be released) - New Infinity
Roll the track - Scott brown - Evolution
Freefall - UFO - New Infinity
Ignition - Scoot brown - Blatent beats
Deep Inside - UFO - Special remix (Never to be released) - New Infinity
Return to Elysium - Scott brown - Blatent beats
Alternative - Hixxy - Jelly Baby
Turn up the music - Scott Brown - Evolution
All i want - Breeze & Styles - New Infinity
Power of love - Scott brown 2001 remix - Evolution
Pure Pleasure - UFO & XL - New Infinity
Roll the track - Scott brown - Evolution (dont ask , played it twice hehe)
Castles - Hixxy & UFO - Raver Baby
Futureset - Breeze & Styles - New Infinity

Be warned, futureset is a choon!!!

ps But seriously, two rips at the same time? HA!

Why Why WHy!!!?!?!

Why rip from what mst be the shittest genre ever. Toy trance is garbage, and although scott brown and the like, do good things with it, the awefull sound of the piss widdly saw synth melodies has got to go. Freeform craps on trancey melodies with its own style so why wouldn't you make tracks more like that rather than rip from the gayest genre ever.

I actually really enjoy the trancey stuff. But i am also a big trance lover so i love hearing my fave trance tracks at the speed i love to dance too. I hope more trancey stuff is produced cause that is what i have decided i want to spin and since there only seem to be a few producers making it my selection is limited.

See, the thing about trance is, outside the U.S., it has been done to death, mostly by talentless producers who think a bass line and a pretty melody comprise a masterpiece. A good fast intricate trancey beat still gets me movin, though.
