I recently started producing hhc.I was wondering if there is anyone else in the mid-west who is producing hhc. we seem to be few and far between here in the U.S.

DJ Spree is from Minneapolis. He did a track called Neverending Hardcore which is wicked as hell. It is a cover of the Neverending Story theme. You can find it at http://www.sonicfury.net
Cloudskipper also has a freeform track at sonic fury. check it out.

I've seen spree on a few occasions. I spun a party with him last year. I've heard the track also. it's good. Too bad minn. is 400 miles from st. louis.

Crazy shit.. you're in St. Louis! I partied there about a year ago. It was at a party called Visionz... Spree played a tag-team w/ muppet****er. and Brisk was immediately following. It was wicked. anyway I don't know of any producers in St. Louis (seeing as how I live in AZ), but I have some friends that live there that promote parties. I talk to them regularly so the next time I do, Ill ask if they know anyone...

Rize do you know DJ Starr? He spun a really wicked set up here in NorCal at Smile 5 like a month ago. Lots of older anthems but I didn't care, it totally worked (we just had two hours of freeform from sharkey and the romantek crew and needed the happy stuff). He even threw down dune - i can't stop raving and gompie - who the f-uck is alice and at least my friends and I went mental. I didn't even know the alice track was on vinyl! Definitely a fine us hardcore dj in my book.

lixx - I dont know dj starr. is he from AZ? There aren't too many hhc djs in AZ. There is Nimh, Wishbone, Hug-E-Bear, Ruxpin and a few others but i don't remember their names right now...

Yeah he's from AZ, Phoenix I'm pretty sure. Not like I know all the hardcore dj's in cali either but since he was playing over here in NorCal I assumed he was somewhat of a hardcore personality over there. If you look at SSU's messageboard it turns out that he took a 3 month hiatus from spinning a little while back and was working on some special split cd's with Ruxpin and Habikki. Maybe give him a shout at [email protected], he's deffo someone that's gets the party kickin.

Not many Happycore DJ's in AZ. Not true we have one hell of a happycore scene and ther is so many HH Dj's.
