In the Numark TT200 manual it says that wen using the S shaped tonearm, the S weight must also b used. What is this and what duz it look like?

I've got s shapes on mine dont know what the s weight is just the headshell weight and mine run fine.

Well the guy i bought the decks off bought the tonearms seperately and sed that he sent evrything he recieved to me so there mustn't actually be a need 2 have an 's weight'. Probably just a way to get more money out of ppl!!

I got mine included and ive read the manual and found a refernce to the s weight but it hasn't got a discription of it.

12's have those but I don't know if that's what you meant

That's right, it's the weight that screws on the end.
For straight tone arm, weight off
For s-shaped, weight on.
All it is really is just a 1" long extension of the tone arm
