Back at the beginning of the year I saw myself having to upgrade headphones.I'd had a pair of technics rp1200 for like 5 years until they couldn't be fixed anymore-lol!-a solid pair of headphones I must say...anyway,I was thinking of getting the sony 700s but after hearing the HDJ-1000's I decided an extra effort in the funding department would be worth it and in my opinion it has.
the only thing I would suggest is to not get headphones that are NOT made for dj'ing.
