hi folks does Technics make good mixers, a mean their turntables are about the best around, but is their mixers good as well?

their mixers are decent but you can find more options and better prices elsewhere

I got the technics mixer, love it! got it with my decks off ebay. Nice smooth faders, seems well built, good sound quality etc.
Only gripe is no pre fade listen, but real dj's dont need that anyway.

there a sturdy wee mixer alright .. but imo not great for mixin on ... more for battlin and stuff ya know ..

I have just orderd my equipment and it comes in a package with a technics shex1200 mixer. Now its priced on decks.co.uk for £329 but doesnt seem to have alot going on compared to some less expensive mixers ive seen. So should i sell this mixer or is it worth keeping?

Technics make a lot of quality things, pianos, keyboards, turntables, i would expect there mixers to be good(mayb not the best) but they have always made good items(and are one of the best)

honestly its so simple to use that if you cant mix on it then you must be a complete spud.
Its got eveything you need and nothing you dont.
