the qfo you can plug a line into it, it has it's own crossfader, 2 volume faders. the thing that's really weird is the pitch control is around the outside of the platter. plus you can swing the tone arm to either side and it will play, you can do that with the newer vestax's as well and you can turn the table completely sideways and it will still play and scratch just like it was horizontal
i think the rep. said the mixer would be like $2200 or something

what broke too easily? table, mixer, what? curious because if something did I've got friends that work for vestax/korg that might be interested in knowing.
Vestax mixers (atleast the higher end ones don't mess with the cheaper stuff) are built like tanks. the earlier mixers felt like it they should be a piece of a tank they weighed so damn much =P

Vestax decks I've got loads of mates who own them and they seem to start slipping in and out of time after a while for some reason. I'm sure you can probably fiddle with them to sort it but I've owned my Technics for years and never had any probs at all so i'll stick with them. Only used a vestax mixer once didn't mind it no cue pan though? Must admit don't really care what mixer I use as long as it has a smooth fader.

Im s**t with model nos by the looks of the vestax site pdx 2300's. It feels like they are rotating unevenly with the record speeding up and slowing down with each rotation one pair I used had this really, really bad shouldn't think they have been knocked about either cuz there all in cases.
