I'm djing out next friday and i'm not to sure my headphones will be able to cope with it. I have Numark HF125s the one's that most packaged decks come with. I don't beatmatch doing the one ear on one headcup the other listening to the speakers I just have them both headcups on and beatmatch the two tunes then take off the headphones and just slowly turn up the volume, so my question is do I need better ones or do you think these will do the job it's quite a loud club.

hmm u mite have a bit of trouble mate ... unless ur 'phones can go really loud and not distort

best bet are sony mdr-v700's, sennheiser HD-25's or the technics ones, cant remember what there called

i'd recommend personally sony mdr-v700, they block out everything and leave you to listen to the cue channels :)

and at 89quid the cheapest of the 3 me thinks

yeah, if you have the cash, spring for the better headphones, it'll definitely help you. Otherwise, figure out where the booth volume control is and make sure you can keep it at a reasonable level. I was in a booth once that was literally shaking from all of the bass. I couldn't even put my records on the table next to me or they'd all fall over. I was definitely liking my 700's then.
