I just downloaded the free version of FL from their website(don't worry its legal, I just can't save anything.) Anyways, I started to mess around, but there's just so much to go through at the beginning and I feel completely overwhelmed. Any ideas on where/how I should get started???
I've never attempted to actually make a track before. I mean I messed around with ACID, but that was just playing with loops and such and I never really came up with anything solid, I'd usually get halfway through a track and then switch and start a new one.
Even information as to what the heck VST stands for would be greatly appreciated, or just websites to read that don't require a good amount of knowledge that I probably don't have. I do want to learn, and know it may be a few months before I have even the beginnings of a good tune, but I want to know where to get started and then go from there.
