Lots of people go on about the Waves C1 compressor. That costs though. But all their DX effects are quality and work a treat with old fruity.
There is a freeware one called endorphin which I managed to get to sound fairly decent with just a few clicks, and it seems to get a good write up, if you care to do a google for it. http://www.digitalfishphones.com/main.php?item=2&subItem=3 Hope that helps mate, let us hear some of the results!!

The Fruity one only deos Peak Compression, so if i have to use it i only use it on percussion. If you have Sound Forge 6 or above, you can use the plugins from that, which will automatically be in the plugin menu on Fruityloops, i use the Sonic Foundry Wave Hammer for compression :)

Waves is good.
But do you want compression or hard limiting?
Cool Edits hardlimiter works a treat, but as for compression, go Waves.
As for Loudness maximiser, deffo Steinberg Loudness Maximiser.
