alright, i cant decide which to spend my $250 on. I was about to get the behringer 700-something, teh 5 channel mixer with effects. But before i was lookin at the numark DXM-06..2 channels with effects. When i went to the store, the guy said he DJed with the behringer and it sucked...the faders dont work good with volume, the components are crap. and it overheats too quickly. He recommended the numark. Help me out guys!

Behringer makes low quality replica equipment, so it's lots cheaper, most of it is pretty crappy, especially their headphones. Numark is very high quality and reliable, I'd say go for the Numark

for studio mixers I dont think there to bad, I've got a mx 2442a and its straight. Sure, its not a mackie, but its also 1/4 the price... now the 9000, thats the behringer to get I think they actually got sued by mackie cause it was almost idential inside. ;)

Dont know about there dj mixers though... I'd probably go for the numark. :)
