Hi,

could i have some feedback please on these two different decks on wether there worth buying atall,if there not then i'll jack the whole dj scene altogether & burrow off into the land of electronica(CD)(vestax/technics) too exspensive..

kam dxx 3000 3.5 torque + good features + good price but do they hold pitch!?

numark ttx100 same torque i think + good features, cost quite a bit more than the kams but are they rock solid on the pitch!?

regards cryton...

I would just wait and save my money for some techs. It will be worth it in the long run, and if you decied that dj'ing isn't for you then you could always sell them and get most of your money back

Mine are the KAM DDX680s and they do the job fine. Got them for a bargain price second hand off a friend. If you're just learning DJing then don't get technics - yes they are the best, and make mixing a lot easier, but this isn't what you want when you're learning. As they say, if you learn on the best then you're crap on the rest. People that learn on technics decks can mix on technics decks and then nothing else - if you learn on a slightly worse deck with a lower torque it will force your mixing skills to be a lot better.

Don't get a belt drive whatever you do but the DDX 3000 sounds like a good plan to me

I have to disagree with you on that. I started off on techs and haven't had any problems. I'm able to mix fine on other decks, and I'd be willing to be that the majority of people that have dj'ing experiance could as well. It might be a bit of a pain in the ass to mix, but it's do able. As long as you aren't in the habit of constantly touching the platter. but using the pitch control instead to keep the beats matched you should be fine.

I'm new on here, but the Numark tables do seem to hold up pretty well. I've never heard of the other one though. Numark has really been improving with their tables recently, so you should be safe with them. I'll tell you though, unless you're getting a really good deal, look at the Vestax and Techs, with all of the new ones coming out, the classics that still rock(MK-II, M3d and PDX-2000), but don't have digital outs are getting really cheap.
