First of let me say, what the card lacks in speed it makes up in a funky PCI card colour (red!) And coming from an SBLive! certainly impresses me!

Ok, seriously - when I first installed the blighter, the sucker ran fine - I could open up Reason and use the audio card driver: "ASIO for Phase 22/28" and also run other audio proggys that just used the "Phase28 Wave" sound driver without any sweat.

I was using the standard sample rate of 44.1khz.

Then I realised that if I set the sample rate to 96khz, I could get even lower latency. So I got greedy and changed the sample rate to 96khz. Thats when all the problems started happening.

I couldn't run both Reason and Winamp at the same time. Or Cubase and Winamp. Basically anything that uses ASIO and the wave driver at the same time.

I've tried to correct the problem, but alas, all to no avail.

Can someone out there help me?

I Suppose @ 44.1khz the card has enough processing power to run dual channel, ie winamp & cubase, however at 96khz, which is a nice fat sampling rate, the card is maxed out, and probably just about manages the 44.1

:)

Maybe yeah.

Cos even though I get 5ms on 96khz, it's pretty buggy.

Nevertheless, I can't change the mofo back.

Maybe, I'll uninstall and re-install and hope for the best.

My pulsar card used to get 0.5ms in ultra low latency settings... but it freaked out when I put in a motherboard with hyperthreading... I changed to a delta 1010 for different reasons.

0.5ms!

Thats a joke.

Might as well, be predicting what key ur gonna hit on the keyboard!

Anycase, I'll faff around with it some more, in the hope that I can get my ASIO back.
