I've been listening to a good bit of Nirvana lately. Not bad. Anyone else think so? Although I do find the lyrics a bit.. weird...

I dont like them that much not bad though. Smells like teen spirit and Lithium are deadly tunes.

They were alright, but due to thier mainstream success a lot of heavier bands turned their style towards a more softer Nirvana sound.

well what can I say, they were ****ing amazing. But grunge is now dead and has been for ages. One band I toured with a year ago do Grunge, and it just didnt go down well at all, because it is dead. And like you said simon, people went for the softer side of Nirvana, which is awful. With grunge, I think it has to be played the way it was played by Nirvana, trying to softening the riffs and the style would make it sound shite. But anyway, yeah Nirvana are a fantasic band.

i use to have all there cds but there music brought me down to much...mostly that something in the way tune they did
