Those synths can produce an infinite variety of sounds.... can you be more specific? Are you actually after one of the presets from those synths? If so then get the multisamples from on the web (use google). If not then what sort of sound are you after>?

Trance synth samples i think are very unfelxible, because your always altering the frequency of the sound, which you can't so effectively do with a sample and sampler.

Thats pure piffle.
Look for roland jp8080 supersaw samples. I've got those, needless to say - they are the real thing.
I've got a stack of samples/patches for Reason, just ask ;)
And if I could get that access virus b refill, that would be awesome too ;)
The novation supernova would have too many patches to sample, so ur better off buy/renting one and sampling it yourself.

http://www.geocities.co.jp/SiliconValley-SanJose/5005/softsynth/ this is called synth1, its basicly a software version of the Lead2, without the morph feature. Its not for Reason, its a Vst, but if you have a VST host, this thing is pretty sweet. ... and its free. Doesnt like Sonar though, gets stuck notes and stuff with looping on.... a problem I've had with several synths and Sonar3. Hope that helps. :) I'm a nOOb

Synth 1 is a cool synth (for free) as there's lots of patch banks you can download too.
With a few layers it starts to sound pretty powerful, there's a site I know of that has lots of samples, vst's, and hosts that you can try out for free to see if you like them.
Anyone looking for the link, just PM me.

Me too actually, but they are just multi samples of the Supersaw waveform, but good ones.

Yeah i used to use that, it's really good considering it's free. It's also a synth Jon Doe recomended on ush.net once, so it has to be good :)

the access virus refill is amazing. there is also a yamaha trance synth refill that isn't too shabby as well.
