the plastic side part of my cartridge keeps hitting the side of Ev62 and making a awful grinding noise. I changed the weight of the arm and it did nothing. Seems whatever I try it wont fix. This doesnt happen with any of my other vinyls (80odd)
im soon going to upgrade and get of of those nice corcorde cartridges but any easy way around this
I got the vinyl today in my package from phuture rave btw
well I, I will, I will hardcore

my deck didnt come with a cartridge and 3months before this my father got a new cartridge for his pioneer 500, so Iv been using his which the pioneer call centre recomended "standfield pioneer PN 12"
I know it wouldnt be top of the line or one would use to a club, but it is crystal clear sound
anyway the needle comes down, but the vinyl for some wacked out reason hits the side of the stylus and creates a awful noise on the scott brown vinyl
well I, I will, I will hardcore

^^^ I don't know about those specific cartridges, but I have never really liked any of the stanton cartridges I've used. From what I understand the shure white labels are suppose to be pretty good, I know a good bit of people that have them and I haven't heard one complaint.
I have a pair of the ortofon DJ's (the blue ones). They are pretty good, the only problem with them is that the connections don't lineup properly with technics.

^^^ Shures are not really the best out there, they are common because they are cheap, there is nothing wrong with them but ortofon is the best in my opinion.
