they sure do. I mean you also have to look at other bands like Black Sabbath, Led Zepplin, Motorhead. All those bands are really old skool metal.

Yeah I know, but Maiden are still together, and making top quality albums/tunes!

There the only band in England that could release complete crap and it would still go multi-platinum or whatever!!! But the fact is if Maiden have made a tune.....expect pure quality!!!

I totally agree that no other band like Iron Maiden could still make a album from back in the day when they were at their best. Though Sabbath are getting back together for a tour which will be cool.

I found there new album very disaponting compared to the other albums released by them. The self titled album is 100% best album released by them. Iowa is a fantastic album but doesnt have the old slipknot in it and this new album is like a completely different and it is like having different people in the band. I think this is because of the side projects they have done and they have taken things from there and that is the probable cause.

hmmmm I am not to keen on the album, but that is my opinion, you never know you may like it but it is too soft for me.

There's far too many of the heavy groups releasing soft, crappy albums of late......I'm looking forward to the 1 group that wouldn't do such a thing, so bring on September for the new Megadeth album....that will no doubt be typically heavy!

Of course Maiden haven't ever really gone soft on there sound either.....although they are one of the most impressive bands that accompanied by an orchestra sounds superb! Paschendale (orchestral version) is rapidly becoming my top top ever track! amazing actual music accompanied by amazing passion filled vocals!

yeah that is totally true, no idea why they are making these softer albums because they suck. Maiden have never softened there tunes...which rocks \m/
