Just thought I would spread the good word that www.imouk.com new shop is opening this Saturday at 10 am. I'm gonna be there. I be wearing my green Slammin Vinyl jacket, so just come and say hello if your in there.

IMO's New shop outlet will be open to the public as from this Saturday 29th September 2001. The Location of the shop is just off Sutton High Street, Sutton, UK (1 min's Walk From Sutton Train Station)
Guest Artist's Passing Through This Saturday In the shop on opening day so far will be: Scott Brown (Evolution), Hixxy (World Dance), DJ Frantic (Breaveheart Track), Vibes (Slammin' Vinyl), Spinback (World Dance), Robbie Long (Helter Skelter), DJ Fade (Blatant Beats), Devestate (United Dance) plus more to be listed.

Opening Hours: Monday - Friday 12am -7pm (Late Night Thursday - Open till 9pm) / Saturday 10am - 7pm / Open Sundays Soon

Got at the store by 11am. Stayed in there for 4 and a half hrs spent 150 came away with about 29 records. I gonna go back next week.
Oh yeah, we left the shop at 3:30, but none of the dj's had poped in by then.
Knowing my luck they arrived just as I left.

When we first got there, there were 2 other people in the place. They were their first customers. They were buying jungle and d&b so when we arrived the store was blasting out d&b but as soon as our brains started to think of titles to buy, it was sound of sweet happy hardcore for the next 4 hrs.
Every so often there was a couple of people popping in, and there must have been about 12-14 people in there as we left. Most of the people in there were buying Hardcore. Every single was going for a fiver. After awhile my brain just couldn't think of any more titles when this person came in and asked if they had Time by vinylgroover. I was like oh yeah, why didn't I think of that, he sold it to him and when I asked for it, he said it was the last one.

montreal's all about house... every record shop stocks house and NO ONE stocks hardcore. That said, house is nonexistant in the mtl rave scene. meh
