I need some help in selecting some production software..
I have no previous experience in using production software, nor can i find anywhere that can offer me training in using production software, so.....
What music software would you recommend a begginer like myself should use, but try to keep in mind that i am not caring about the quality of the music that i will be making as i am only going to be using this as a learning aid.
or alternitavely...
Would anyone be able to direct me on where i could maybe get some sort of training oh how to use these tools, i am from Brisbane, Australia and anyhelp would be much appreciated :)

If you are looking to get a hold of Cubase then you have come to the right place. Currently I am selling a few Cubase SX V.2 packages and I have 2 left. The packages are being sold at £100 each (£350 off RRP).
If you are looking for further information on this item please look at the the topic posted on Gear Talk called "5x Cubase SX V.2. 4 sale"
There is also a feedback review available from a previous customer posted in this topic.

fruityloops is definately the best for learning, cubase is too complicated till you have a good knowledge of music. just faff around for a bit and youll start pumping out tunes quickly :)

^^ i'm guessing you mean VSTi's
theyre like virtual keyboards and they generate sounds...theyre a must :P
I recommend Pro 53, Superwave, and V-station, all very good synths.

I've been using Reason for a while now, and it kick ass over FL. Only prob is No VSTs.
Its a bit harder to get used to (the Rack window and the Sequencer window) but I love it....
