Im ordering my new mixer tomorrow, originally i decided on the pioneer DJM-707, but theres still a voice in the back of my mind sayin get a vestax. Anymore advice would be ultra helpfull....

Alright mate, I've got the pioneer DJM-600 and find it ****ing amazing, I expect the 707 will be as good, go for that.

When I can afford it I'm upgrading to Pioneer, go with it. Vestax is good for a budget and a solid mixer all round.

my experience with vestax mixers are:
Go with an expensive top model or don't bother with them (the cheaper ones seem to go wrong and not as good quality as some of the other budget mixers)
as I say this is my experience with them...

I say go with the new Pioneer mixer. I have not heard any negitive things about it yet...

I was checking out some scratching dmc sites etc and they really rate this Vestax 05 mk3 cross fader for scratching, but they warn that the volume faders are dodgy on this mixer!?!?!
I reckon the best bet is to go to a large music equipment store get them to set some technics up take some choonz and try before u buy... thats the route I'm now gonna take for my next mixer.
