I got those in my setup right now. Back in december. They are my second turntables and are my favorite ever. TOTALLY worth the money.
Also, the box says, "Technics SL1210M5G". Not MK5G.

most places carry them for ~$599 each, come with mats and a cartridge just no needle
bonus perk that i love about them is you can get straight tone arms for them, those run around $100 each

haha, i know what you mean lixx what exactly is the difference between the "S" arms they come with and upgrading to straight ones? i've heard straight ones are better for scratching but if that's the case the "S" arms must have some advantage to make them the standard on there in the first place??

straight ones are better for scratching as the force put on the record if looking down on the record is up and down; whereas the s tone arms are left and right
if that makes sense =P
