As you've probably noticed the Bonkers and Hardcore Heaven CD series has stopped. Does anyone know why and if so would anyone want to see a return of these? I thought the Bonkers series was amazing, it would be great to see a Bonkers 8.

The best compilation(s) i ever heard was The Sound of Club Kinetic Volumes I and II

the only reason theres a lack of CD comps, is cause theres soo little HHC being produced.  were lucky if we get 1 release a week now.
we all gotta start producing lotts, to get more tunes out there.

I agree with Elation that no one's making compilations anymore because of the small amount of tunes being released these days and out of those releases the amount that are of any quality is proper small.
Also think that happy hardcore is still very much underground (thank christ) and CD compilations usually depend on public demand because that's how commercialism works and that's basically what CD compilations are, an attempt to commercialise IMO. The original Bonkers and some of the later releases were proper cool though

100% nu energy was released not long ago its a brill freeform album...pity its not hhc!!! and anyway...who says we're not trying to make hhc???many of us are trying!!!

I just hope there will be a "Boom" in HHC songs soon, its only really people like Sy and Hixxy playing all the new and origional stuff, every other tape I've heard contains the same songs as it did in 97!

you're right, i miss having new hhc tunes,i'm just stuck with bonkers 1-7,i'd do whatever it takes to get a bonkers 8 released,how many of you agree??

Why don't we all phone/e-mail/fax React record label to try and encourage them to release another Bonkers!!!????
It's been two years since the last release.
I'll get back to you all with contact numbers/addresses for React.

One thing we have to remember is the releases we have they can never take away from us the first 3 bonkers were great but the last few turned more trancey/freeformy and im not a massive fan of it i prefer the original stuff :)
How ever i did manage to pick up a dreamscape album late last year 9cds worth for 20 quid what a bargain 3 old skool cds,3 hardcore,3 jungle(oh well nevr mind lol)
Hope theres some releases simlair to scott brown-turn up the music
cause thats gotta be the best HH tune this year :)
