Anyone ever see these and what are you thoughts on them. The seem pretty sturdy and make CDjing seem a bit more appealing (hence the reason for my other post). Only problems I see are cost and way to many buttons on them. Scratching may also suffer.
Do you think these things stand a chance? Would any one out there object to them? I would honestly like to give them a shot; curious to see how they preform.
Silver, I read somewhere else (can't find the site again) that they are out in Japan. Any info?

Looking at them I wonder how scratching would work. When I scratch I use the lable on the record as a visual marker on where the sample starts and the cart as my crosshairs. How would that work on those? You could possibly put in a cd with each track being a sample I assume but I don't know. Hmm...

Numark is making some too, and the major diff is that you can slap some vinyl on there, so the feel is exactly the same. The Technics just looks like you have to use the metallic platter.
So as far as using the label as a reference, you can do that on the Numark one. As far as I know they'll cost the same, around $1000 US.

the_fourth: We ran a story about them a while ago on the news page, I am yet to see them in stores I think they might be trying to iron out the bugs.
nrXic: You can't remove the vinyl that is on the top, it's attached to the device.
