I have numark ttx-1s and my mate wants to get them as well but I heard there are new ones coming out soon with 4.5 of torque does anyone know anything about this and when are they coming out. I also heard that quite alot of the old models are defective eg if they are on to long the motor heats up and loses almost all of its torque does anyone have this problem with their ttx-1s

well the only new 1's i know of r the tt500's which r just ttx's but without the snazzy bpm counter n shit.

No there is diffantly a upgraded model coming instead of 3.7 torque there will be 4.5 why you ask **** knows its not like you could really notice the difference

A bloke who i deal with who's 'in the know' told me that there were going to be new top of the range Numarks announced at the PLASA sound & light show at the end of last year buy i haven't seen him since!
Anything on their website yet?

The New Numark TT 500's are already selling on eBay and on some online DJ stores.
It has 4.5kg of torque and it does not have the LED from the TT X1's...

Yes i think they are the only new ones that ive heard of. To be honest i dont think there would be much point in paying more for new ones if they only have slightly more torque

well the ttx1s are already 2 x the torque on technics. And seeing as they are the industry standard in clubs then i wouldnt worry if its 3.7 or 4.5. Techs are gonna feel weak compared to either.
