i managed to get a copy of sound forge 7 , it has time stretching option on it , so i tryed this on a cheesy trance track and the results r ok i pitch shift the track too as i thought it was just sounding like a pitched up track and not like other time stretch tracks i've heard .
heres a link to it, think it's playing around the 160 mark now . :
http://www.skoolhouse.com/realaudio/extract%20from%20cd%202%20-%20track%204.ram i've been told wavelab and pro soniq time factory are good for this but i can't get them anywhere , if anybody knows where i can hold of them it would be appreciated . also when time stretching a track , what do they sound like when pitched up in a cdj (still not got mine yet)and how do u get round them sounding stupid ie ending up being too pitched up and sounding really silly like a chipmunk , and know some people will say time stetching a trance track sounds stupid anyway . cheers 4 any help .
