I think that Otaku-Speedvibe is an event/venue in japan? and there is a CD called Otaku-Speedvibe, not sure though...

Yea its japanese, although it doesnt have japanese vocals. The label for that would be UpSurge...
Quality tune, like all the UpSurge tunes are

wehay! I'm not the only one here that knows that Happy-Gabba is an official name, yes it is official! thanks for that Shallala! yeh! but I must point out it was only Thunderdome's 8 to 14 that were "Happy-Gabba"
Happy-Gabba is basically Happyhardcore but Hell of alot Ruffer/Faster and had its peak from 95 to 97ish. I wish this genre came back but it's not gonna so that's why I've got Music software and I do it my self.
As for Japan doing Happy-Gabba! ha! I didn't even knew Japan knew what hardcore or techno music was... i thought they were a bit behind but seeing as the TR-909 was invented by some Japanese guy... that just blows my theory away... I wonder if there's a DJ in Japan called DJ Shushi hehe!

if im not misteken, (and hopefully im not) it was DJ Uraken who was a big part of the Hardcore scene rising in Japan in about 96, that's what he said in his interview, and at the Hardcorekitchen.com website, it says some stuff about it in Japanese (i can almost read it but most of the kanji [chinese characters] throw me off) eather way, i've rarley herd any kind of Japanese HHC, or hardcore in general, BTW Silver, have you been to Tsutaya? thats my fav Japanese store, but the one on Sado-gun diddnt carry hardcore, I diddnt check the one in Tokyo all that much but just in case you've been to any, where have you found Hardcore C.D's in Japan, anywas? (im just asking)
(now thinking of new translation)

Japan's had a techno scene for at least 6 years from what I can remember, and I'd bank on them having a big scene even previous to that, I have a friend who's English but loves the country Japan and goes there at least 3 times a year, and I'll tell you they do have quite a big Techno scene out there!!! I'm talking Techno here not necessarily Hardcore.

The biggest one in Japan is like 2 mins away from me, don't buy CD's here it's a video / DVD rental store.
You can buy hardcore CD in Shibuya's HMV and Tower records.
