What would have been on them?
This was usually seen as the quiet era but known for some absolute gems. What tracklist could have been used? Considering that Bonkers would sometimes have stuff from the previous year (Bonkers 2 was full of stuff from 1996 that probably did not always get released until 1997 if ever) you could use some 1999 released for a 'Bonkers 7.5' in 2000 but you would need some 2000 stuff for a 2001 if you get what I mean?
2000 is sometimes the harder year to pick stuff out from as Hixxy did not even start Raverbaby until the following year but it appears that some 2001 Raverbaby releases where already there in 2000 as I am sure I heard a couple of them in a 2000 set of his.
Of course you could cheat and say that they included a bit of 'sped up Trance' as seemed to be the Hixxy way anyway!

The version on Bonkers 8 is slightly different and is branded an 'Exclusive Remix' as Bonkers sometimes liked special version

If Bonkers had been released in 2000/2001:
Those Hoovers! Very dark tune and never heard it before. Pretty much a sped up Hardcore House/ Hard Trance combo with a cheeky ragga vocal thrown in on the sly. Always good tracks from Kaos/ Johnny Go Mental

First heard it on Original Hardcore Vol.2
I never actually owned any of the 'Original Hardcore' series. It is interesting that there was quite a few compilations out at the time that actually included 90s Hardcore side by side. The Decadance releases where worth a listen and I had two of them

I still have most of these on vinyl stored away. Was a funny time for Hardcore in the UK. Some of the best and most creative tracks ever produced were being released. Yet all my mates were moving onto playing Hard House & Trance. I found that stuff all too slow and f##king boring so I stuck to buying Hardcore.
I remember even at the record shops they were trying to get me to buy Hard House because they knew I was always buying lots of Hardcore. So if I changed to Hard House they'd make a lot of money off me again haha..
But kept saying no I don't like Trance & Hard House. I did buy the Trancecore on NU Energy & Bonkers though before it went commercial and turned into Freeform.
Was also some good stuff on World of Obsession, Infinity & Evolution still too.
