how do i record one of my mixes to a real audio file. my decks are no way near my computer, but i have a stereo next to my computer, so how can i record from cassette to real audio file. i have real producer? can i do it with this, and how? if not, what programs can you suggest?
You look like you're in another world and i can read your mind. 4 o'clock in the morning, and it's starting to get light.

yeah what mouse said, get SOUND FORGE. i use it and it totaly kiks. you can search for recorders at DOWNLOAD.COM and other download sites. one recorder is called ROSOFT. or we could even hook up on MSN MESSENGER and i could upload a recording program to you.
you just need to make sure you got a line in on your sound card. they all do.
you can pick up a RCA to PHONE JACK cord at any electronic shop.
so the RCA's go into the LEFT and RIGHT out puts from your mixer and the PHONE JACK will plug into your LINE IN on your SOUND CARD.
if you need any more info post it.
