So not a traditional track ID as I may already have the answer just not convinced it's the right one!
Track included on "Old Skool Happy Hardcore Anthems Vol. 2" on Just Another Label, credited as "Melanie McHugh - Blue Sky". I can't see that this artist has released this track at any point whereas all the other tracks on the album had a release on either Just Another Label or JAL Premium.
I believe Melanie McHugh is the real name of Poison Rain and the vocals on this track are very similar to "Fracus & Darwin feat. Poison Rain - About To Fly" but some of the lyrics are different and this version also feature a male vocal which doesn't appear on the Fracus & Darwin track so I don't think it's a remix.

If it wasn't for the questionable quality of artist credits on these releases I would take it at face value as just a different version, maybe Fracus & Darwin adapted it for their album, maybe this is the artist who wrote the lyrics making their own version but just wondered if anyone had come across this track before and knew a bit more about it?

can't listen properly, but is thus the same version?
That' album's a mess!
Not even half of them are Happy Hardcore, most of them came out in 2004-2006 and apple lists is as from 1996 (the oldest track on here is from 98 i believe)

Yeah that's the one, thanks buddy.
I wonder if it never got an official release as on the JAL site it has no release in the catalogue associated with it.
And yeah that album is a mess. I've pretty much had to ID each track to double check. You've got wrong artists, remix listed when it's actually the original, etc. but it has plugged a couple of holes in my collection and/or provided better quality copies than I already had.

I belive it was released, back when JAL put out every digital track they made together with Hardcore Underground (back when it was RFU Recordings) on IMOdownload (when they weren't supposed to have been released yet).
