I was merging 2 partitions (F & G), and when it was complete it reported an error, that some files are linked together, now i cant fix the problem, and i dont see the partition (F) anymore in windows. if i open Partition magic, its still there, but it has a * sign infront of it... The only way i know to get the partition back working, is to format it, but i dont wanna do it, coz it contained half of my CD's, it would take about 40-80 hours to record them back to my computer...
I have 1 empty partition, is there any way i could copy all the not effected files to there, and after that format the partition, and then move the files back?

s*** s*** s*** s*** s*** s*** s*** s*** s*** s*** s*** s*** s*** s***,
I thought i could copy the partition to another partition, so that it would move the good files and leave the error files...
Fortmated one 20Gb partition, just to realize i cant copy the files...
I think i'm just gonna use the good old format command.

So... I used OpenMG, but because the files are copyprotected it was too hard to make backups... So i think i'm now gonna record my cd's as mp3 now... Has anybody of you used music match? is it good? Coz it is very similar to the player i used, only a little better... and it has the recording function, so i dont have to use many programs... Oh and can it take the tracklistings from gracenote?

I use musicmatch all the time, and think its a great program for, converting music cds into mp3, and you can burn it back to the cd too.. :)

I tryed it, ripped few cd's and tested it, but the playlist system was way too confusing to me, so -> Uninstall... Got myself the iTunes player, doesnt have any ripping-speed limits etc and is VERY easy to use, the best player ive used so far...
