Right does anyone else have a problem with the search engine on this site recently its been happening all the time when i go to the search page the blue 'toolbar' so to speak at the top appears but the options do not (i.e. no 'japanese', 'active topics' and so on) and then my mouse freezes and the internet explorer crashes!! Its really annoying me and has been happening for about a week now, but ONLY on the search page on this site.... any suggestions why?

Works and has worked fine with me, although ive had that similar problem with other sites...

yeah i know i was thinking maybe its a bug in my pc but how come ONLY affecting that perticular thing? Strange. Just got it to work once but the toolbar still didnt work and it kept going 'back' like id clicked for it to but i hadnt. Bizarre.

It's a known problem with certain combinations of Windows and Internet Explorer. If possible upgrade your IE and that should sort it.

Nah I think I know why, on the search page it attempts to load all our members into a search dropdown (9000+ of them), I guess your computer can't handle that much text... I will change it to a text box insteed.
