Oh god, I bought HPTG ravekick 4 and pre-ordered as i thought the previous ones were album only deals and it wasn't cheap by any means. I should have waited and bought the individual tracks but here we go to the hatchet job. It's worse than the S3rl version of airhead.
We all know "Re-style - Wildfire" don't we? Epic vocal, great track with euphoria to boot. Now i know Restyle may not own the vocal and may have lifted it from somewhere previously but when you use a common vocal, you can't avoid comparisons. Hodgekiss needs to go away forever, bad bad man, the murder job is called "need you now".

I'm halfway through it and not too impressed. Memorable hardcore is hard to find now.
EDIT: Halfway through the album I mean.

I just literally said on Discord the vocal doesn't seem right.
I am not a fan of this track at all.

A little bit harsh if you ask me.
I dont listen to Hotchkiss so I have no bone in, but they're not even the same track. From what I've been told, the vocals are royalty free and have no actual melody assigned to it.

While I get your point, I disagree. With the huge number of sample packs and subscriptions services available nowadays it's clear that you'll hear the same vocals in multiple tracks, especially if you listen to multiple genres.
I'm also a huge of the Re-Style track and think the Hotchkiss is hugely inferior, I believe he was just unaware that the vocal was alredy used in a popular track.
And I also don't think that the Hotchkiss track is bad, I just find it to be basic, The JAKAZiD track for example is really not my type of hardcore, but I can't deny how much more creative and well produced it it in comparison.
But to proof my point, here are just a few examples of tracks use the same vocals:
Technikore & Mike Reverie - Losing Myself
D-Sturb - Losing Myself
Endymion & MC Jeff - Losing Myself
MADGRRL - Losing Myself
Wasted Penguinz - Losing Myself
Pinball - Loosing Myself
My copy hasn't arrived yet, so I haven't heard most of the other tracks yet, but I'm sure there'll be some hidden gems on there.
