So I remember dj rankin was very hated on this site many years back and most likely by any hardcore dj's/producer's in general. However he has just today appeared on a Klubfiller podcast on soundcloud and Klubfiller branded him as a 'Scottish superstar dj!' What's everyone's thoughts on this? He's been active on YouTube these past two years or so and his tracks that he seems to now produce himself sound a lot more professional than his stuff from 15 year's ago. Scott Bounce told me a few months ago that Rankin has been legit for the past years, even running a club

He has had some releases with a few other artists that I have stumbled across on Soundcloud. It is mostly uplifting dance with a bit of a Happy Hardcore flavour but for the club crowd. Not what I would normally listen to but much better than when he was using Acustica Mixcraft to do his 'remixes' as back in the 2000s.
The girls do seem to love him though!

A joke of the highest order and I don't care if he's gone legit, he made a mockery and took the pirate route to get there. Fk Rankin.

Like he was the only one who did that?
Even Martin Garrix was caught using pirated software (although at the time he had enough money to pay 5 copies of his production suite without ruining him financially)

Never heard of Martin Garrix releasing other people's songs with out of time samples layered on top and passing them off as his own though. Rankin is a cockpop of the highest order.
