Got myself one of these just after xmas along with a few other bits n bobs (new headphones, spare leads etc). I think yeah, they probably are a bit gimmicky, a nd yeah i probably could have bought something better for a similar price with better features. I will say they are so easy to use. I recorded a test mix with my mate who is learning to dj (link to the mix https://www.happyhardcore.com/forums/topic.asp?topic_id=101869), and we were on for nearly two hours. It doesn't have to be plugged in as it has an internal battery. You would need to buy a micro SD card though (128GB max). Criticism i do have is it could possibly do with a screen, showing how long it has been recording for. If you listen to the mix could you please comment on how the recording sounds? I think personally i may of had the input gain too high. thanks in advance!
