We've seen The Tweekaz having a lot of success as Tweekacore in recent years. Now a Dutch Hardstyle producer called Subraver has put out a slammer.
Actually surprised this wasn't released on Electric Fox. Out on DWX

Subraver - Get Back

Candy & anime was just a faze & a total embarrassment that everyone mocks and laughs at now.

I think people asked this already 20 years ago, but when does speeding up a track make it (UK) Hardcore? :P

Sounds like you actually know what your talking about though lol..
The earliest Raver Baby releases were nearly all sped up bootlegs and remixes. Does that make them not UK Hardcore?

Has been done since 170bpm Hardcore started. Guys like Vibes & Dj Unkown were speeding up and remixing house tracks to happy hardcore as early as 1995.

There is a little education for (mr no idea) Samination #clueless:) By the way turn the bass up on those mixes you do. It is all sounding like Korean pop at 45 rofl

As you rightly state, it's been done since then, so surely that in itself just makes it part of the genre.

I like this style, but I'm not sure how much more producers can stretch that same lead.
