So I ordered the Behringer DJX700 after reading reviews and researching online. I came to the conclusion that it's the best mixer for the price, and everyone who reviewed it said that its the best mixer for $200. I went to school today and asked a friend who DJ's Hip Hop and he said all Behringer stuff is crap. I dont know what to think now. What is your guys' opinion on this mixer (its the one that looks like a rip-off of the Pioneer DJM600).

Thanks,
Shaun Little

Unless a pro DJ reviews a mixer then they don't really know what they are talking about. A non DJ review will look at a mixer, see if it works, check the features and compare the price with other products, having no idea what DJ's actually need in a mixer.

I recommend you goto a DJ shop and listen to the difference between all the mixers and find one you like. I did this and listened to 4-5 different mixers and the Vestax sounded the best.

I used a Behringer twice and I did not like it, the cross fader was all weird (at 50% both channels were not 50%) and the fade rate on the cross fader were not adjustable, this was a brand new mixer.

the djx700 is a copy of the djm500 not the 600

just save ur money and get a djm600 far better quality as u wud expect from pioneer, also the effects are lovely ;) specially for mixin trance and really melodic stuff with high energy breakdowns

Well, the thing is, I dont want to wait a long ass time to save up $1000. Anyway, I was just wondering if you guys thought it was worth $200 or not, and if its the best mixer for that price. Thanks for your guys' help.

behringer are good quality for the money but i would seriously recommend just saving an gettin a pioneer, the djm500 is at least $200 cheaper than a 600, and if ur gettin a djx700 it is practically a 500, i dunno personally i wud choose the pioneer, but maybe the behringer is suited for u
