This was a track I was working on. I made the drop first, then this intro. However I struggled finding good Pads for the break and I don't have a vocal yet.
All Feedback is well appreciated, let me know if you would like to hear the drop as well and i'll mock up a small build
Thanks.

Nah, I use Ableton. Though I've noticed alot of Hardcore producers using Cubase. Is there an advantage to Cubase for Hardcore production? I hope i'm not missing a trick lol

I guess I'm not the only one who noticed? I use FL Studio 12 for my songs, it serves me good.

Cubase stock plug-ins features 'Retrolouge 2' which is awesome. It also has Pad Shop, and you can upgrade to Pad Shop pro which allows you to loads samples and create new pads.
Another plug-in is HAlion Sonic SE3, which is decent too.

No point in switching to another daw if you're just gonna keep doing the same things on it.
That being said, a friend of mine who produces techno did the whole SAE institute program to be a certified trainer on ableton, just to realize he felt more comfortable using Propellerhead Reason, which was what he grew up with.

Yeah kinda the same with me, I grew up With FL then when I went to school I got taught in Ableton. but each daw has it's own quirks I guess. like in FL there was a global pitch shifter which would transpose all midi notes on one slider. which was a brilliant way of freshening up a loop when your ears get bored of it. nothing like that on Ableton though :(
