I heard from a friend you can take reg 1200s and theres a screw inside you can turn to make the pitch from 8-/+ go to 14-/+ is this true??? If so how is it done

yep u can do it, u can also adjust the break speed so far that u can make it go back after it stops, u can also adjust how long it takes for the platter to stop spinnin after u turn it off

take off the cover i think and just look for a screw near the pitch, altho dont quote me on that one cos i'm tryin to go from memory, check with someone else b4 doin it but i think thats how its done

I actually don't like pitched decks, the pitch slider becomes way to senative for my liking.... I would not really recommend it unless your into speed core or want to pitch up old skool or trance.

i thought you could get it up to like +24 or something...if your interested in having pitched up decks buy the new 1210s and avoid voiding your warranty =P

i remember seeing a website on how to do this a long time ago but don't remember what it was =P

It's true TTX-1's are great. All the design flaws of technics and vestax removed for the same price and then a load of extra features to boot.

exactly what i was thinking,dunno about vestax but technics don't have design flaws. there's simply nothing to go wrong on them. and i hope this technics vs vestax/numark/whatever doesn't come back we've had enough of them on here :P
