I have almost finished my Don't Go remix.

I am trying to work on the vocals. I have them where I want them. I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to processing / Mixing them. I have tried using compressors, delay's & reverb's but I cannot get it sounding right and really don't know too much about how they work or how to get the sound I want out of them. I have tried watching some YouTube videos but they didn't help.

Any advice or recommendations where I can learn this stuff?

I'm really happy with the rest of the production accept to Vocals.

I'm using stock Cubase 10 effects.
I have a few things that came with my Focusrite audio interface but that's it.
Willing to try new VST's if they are free.

Thank's

When you say you have them where you want them, you mean within the song/sequence?

It's hard to say what you could improve without a sample.

I will say this:

use your ears ...and a couple of reference tracks!

and...

a good arrangement usually mixes itself.
